On September 27th, 2026 the professional wrestling world lost one of the most professional, charismatic and aerodynamically proficient men to ever grace the mat in Ben Satterley. Ben was known as Pac in All Elite Wrestling and Neville in World Wrestling Entertainment, but to many fans he was known as the King of the Cruiserweights for is incredible range from proficient mat based wrestling to being the man gravity forgot when launching himself off the top rope.
Even when leaning into his edgier side as his “Bastard” persona Ben captivated and captured the eyes and emotions of an even broader range of fans. While Ben was never able to capture the AEW or WWE world championships, he helped pioneer an era and style of wrestling that heavily effects the business today. After an almost year long run as one of the first NXT champions, his run as WWE Cruiserweight champion helped shape Total Nonstop Action X-division champions Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander. Prior to those accomplishments Pac had been putting on classics in Japan with two men that would later main event his own tribute show in Ricochet and AEW World champion Will Ospreay.
Duke and Steve of the DJP extends their condolences to Ben’s family and friends and In order to honor Ben we write this as our first tribute page and talk about our favorite matches and moments in the tribute episode below.
